Verde Apartments

Great value for the price, with free parking right outside. It's near the city center, but the area is fairly quiet.

The bed was good and the room a decent size, but the place was only so-so and not very clean. They charged extra for every cleaning. I stayed 11 days, so basically I had to clean up myself 😂. The door closers were really loud, with doors slamming all night and morning, and some kids drank too much and screamed all night. I'm not going back.

The apartment was dirty: the floor had only been mopped from the bathroom to the corner, where there were clouds of dust and hair. There were handfuls of hairs on the carpet, dust flew when I opened the curtains, and the drawer had dirty cutlery. The dishwasher hadn't been emptied, and there was an oven baking tray inside. I didn't even check if it was clean. The apartment was freezing when we arrived in freezing weather. We adjusted the temperatures and managed, but not everyone will think to close the window vents when the wind keeps blowing. Light also leaks from the 40x70cm ceiling vent all night. The tablet that controls the lights and heat stays on all night too. You can supposedly turn it off, but it restarts automatically. These are modern, newly finished apartments in a modern building, in a good central location that's not noisy. That's where the problems start.

The parking area under the apartments says parking is free for 15 minutes. This is the fourth time I've been charged within that free period, as shown on my receipt. There's no way to contact the parking manager to report it.
