Great.

The worst part was the upstairs neighbors stomping around. There seems to be no ceiling insulation, and each step comes through like a muffled hammer blow. Impact sounds carry through the walls, and even the ventilation shaft spreads noise into every room, not just the bathroom. People constantly slam the heavy security doors because they don't lock them properly. With about half the apartments used as hotels or short-term rentals, it’s loud and unpleasant, and relaxing feels impossible. It can even make you anxious. The building looks nice, but that’s about all it has going for it. Luckily I only rented here while considering buying a studio in this disaster.

The interior garden is a mess despite looking nice. When someone speaks on a balcony, the sound carries so clearly it feels like they're right on yours, not four flights away. The walls are thin too, so you hear everything happening in the building.

The terrace looks out over Wawel Castle, which makes it tempting to stay put. The apartment is clean and well equipped, and it’s a perfect base for seeing Krakow and the surrounding area. Parking and a TV were missing, which were the only downsides. Otherwise, the location is perfect.
