Apartamenty i Bar Marco

We were five, including the kids, and stayed as a family. The apartment was clean and nicely located, and we enjoyed our time there. Only thing missing was even shower gel.

It was nicely furnished and close to both the train station and the shopping mall. The amenities covered a lot: wardrobe and hangers, desk, sofa, washing machine, ironing board, clothes dryer, portable heater, fan, spare bedding in the wardrobe, fridge, dishes, small containers, and a few things for occasional cleaning. Cleanliness was okay.

Getting in by ourselves was easy, and the owners communicated well. The location also worked well, close to a tram stop, with a bar in the same building serving tasty meals at affordable prices. The listing hadn't mentioned that the apartment was on the fourth floor with no elevator, or that it was heated by a gas boiler. The building looked nice but was neglected: a bulb was out on one floor, the wall paint was cracked, and the main entrance door was hard to close. Inside, the walls were dirty, the ceiling looked water-damaged, the doorframes were scuffed, and the floor was worn. After it rained on our last day, the ceiling seemed to leak in several spots. There were cobwebs in the corners, and the bathroom, especially the shower, hadn't been cleaned properly. The hairdryer casing was damaged. It was cold at night, and the room heater was padlocked. The low-battery CO2 sensor light blinked all night; we told the owners, but nobody came to change the battery. The sofa bed was low, hard, and horribly uncomfortable, like sleeping on a board. Folding it out and back up left clouds of dust on the floor. The corner sofa wasn't comfortable either, and its cushions were hard. For an apartment that sleeps five, there was only a small table and two chairs, so we had to take turns eating or use the living area. The fridge kept defrosting, with water dripping onto the shelves. There wasn't a broom or mop for cleaning the floor now and then.
