The room was nice and clean. There were a lot of stairs up to the top, but really, I can’t fault it.

The view, room, and location were all great, and everything went smoothly. I was unsure at first about there being no in-person reception, since they send you a code to open the room door, but the virtual setup was easy and there were no surprises. I’d recommend getting breakfast included too. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

The location is really convenient, with restaurants, bars, sights, and public transport just a few minutes away. Breakfast was splendid, served at a restaurant around the corner, and the owner I met was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, check-in and checkout were easy, and the air conditioning worked well. There’s a virtual reception and coded doors. On arrival day the cleaning tag was missing and the baby bed we’d requested wasn’t there, but both were sorted out quickly and we had no other problems. With two small children, though, a few things didn’t work well for our routine. Breakfast only starts at 8am, but our kids woke at 5:30 or 6, so we had a long wait, and the baby was ready for her first nap by breakfast time. A place serving breakfast from 7 would have suited our early risers better. There’s no elevator either, so when the baby fell asleep in the buggy, we had to carry the buggy and baby upstairs or risk waking her. The hotel is right in front of a very busy square, which is handy, but weekends get noisy at night. Light sleepers should bring ear protection.

The hotel is right in the city center, which is a great location. But our attic room was too small for two, and the bed didn’t suit two people either. We paid extra for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Since I eat gluten-free, I was disappointed when the waiter said my options were salad and radish.
