Best Western Efekt Express Kraków Hotel

The rooms were comfortable and clean, with everything needed for a good night's rest. Staff were polite, helpful, and available for questions, while check-in and check-out were quick and easy. I had a pleasant stay at the Express Hotel Krakow. It's in a quiet area a little way from the city center, but Uber and public transport make getting there easy.

I slept really well here. The clean, comfortable room was very quiet, had more amenities than I expected, and I could open the window to adjust the temperature. I've had worse stays in much fancier hotels. No hair on the bed or anywhere else, everything was excellent. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, I'd stay again. Getting to the center by taxi was easy, and there was also a breakfast place within walking distance.

We'd read complaints about the distance from the main town, but the location is clear on Google maps, so it's something to check before booking. We were fine with being out of the way and walked into town, about an hour, passing some lovely little shops and places to eat. The airport is nearby too. Public transport is easy to use and local, though we didn't need it. The daytime staff were lovely and let us store luggage before check-in and after check-out, and helped with bus and train information. We stayed two nights. There were lots of kids on a school trip when we arrived, as other reviews had mentioned. That wasn't a problem for me, but could bother some guests. The rooms were clean, though one guest got some bites. We were annoyed when staff called our room and threatened to phone the police over noise. They hadn't come up to check, just taken another guest's word for it. It was quiet time, not silent time, and we were only talking in low voices, reflecting on our day at autswitch, not having a party. The walls aren't very thick, but threats weren't needed. The school kids were really noisy the first night, but we understand kids are kids. I would personally stay again.

The room was clean and warm, the bed comfortable, and the staff polite. We had breakfast at the adjoining hotel, with the usual choices like cereal, cooked food, fruit, and pastries. We took the train from the airport to the nearest station, then walked 15 minutes to the hotel. A local bus took about 20 minutes to reach the center.
