Cracow Rent Apartments

The room was basic but clean, and it was easy to find parking nearby. We were five people staying for one night while passing through Kraków. The old city centre is about a 20 minute walk away. Street parking is cheap and free from 20:00 to 10:00. Be aware that some apartments have no elevator, and the fourth floor is a long climb.

The apartment was comfortable, clean, and modern, close to the heart of Krakow. It had huge windows, a big bed, a huge sofa, a TV with 7 channels, and a kitchen with empty cupboards and wardrobes. The bathroom was clean too, with a toilet, a nice shower, a sink, and towels. There’s no lift, just stairs, and reception is a couple of minutes away along the same street. The staff there treated us kindly. If we return to Krakow, we’ll choose these apartments again.

This was one of my worst stays. The apartment is on the 5th floor at Kolberga str., with no elevator. It was +10 Celcium inside at check-in, and even with all the heaters and air conditioners running for heat, it took 2 hours to warm up. The floor was so dirty that the kids’ socks turned dark in a minute, and there was hair from previous guests all over it. The internet was only 1Mbs, so it might as well have been unusable. I restarted the router, but that didn’t help, and nobody came to fix it after I complained. The last straw was discovering the hairdryer didn’t work after I’d washed my hair. It was completely dead, and it seemed nobody had checked it after the previous guests.
