Free laundry and a dryer were a first for me. Bring your own detergent or pay for some. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the kitchen had free basics like oil, salt, and pepper. There’s secure free bag storage, just get the key at the counter, and a cozy area. This isn’t a social hostel, which suited me perfectly. It’s good value, though I had six flights of stairs to the third floor and there’s no soundproofing to speak of. Two rooms share a toilet. Towels aren’t included, but cost 5 zloty, and you’ll need to borrow a hair dryer. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Our private double room had what we needed, including a comfortable bed, a table, chairs, wardrobe, and plenty of outlets. The bathroom was a good size with a lovely hot shower, and towels were provided. There’s also a large, well-equipped kitchen with tea and coffee, plus a lovely courtyard open during the day and evening for relaxing. The hostel is an easy walk from Krakow’s old town. Good value for the facilities and location, and we’ll come back.

There are fridges, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with your own locker, plus a shelf, charging point, and light at every bed. It’s close to the old town, the train station, and other public transport, so it works well even for a one-night stay. I’d recommend it to my friends!

The afternoon receptionist was helpful, but the arrival left a bad impression. I came a few hours early and only asked to use the internet on my iPad. The receptionist made me feel like a thief, as if guests weren’t even allowed Wi-Fi. The dorm smelled foul, and the mattress was the worst I’ve seen. The bed was rotten, and the floorboards creaked with every person returning in the middle of the night. Tour group members packing and handling plastic woke me before dawn, so I left early after less than seven hours of sleep. The whole stay made it hard to rest. I only stayed because of the booking, and wouldn’t have wanted another minute there. Given the overall experience, better to avoid it.
