A handy base for seeing the city. The rooms are old but cozy, breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful.

The beds were really comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. There’s also a lovely woman who makes scrambled eggs at breakfast. It’s a quiet, pleasant hotel in Krakow’s Jewish quarter. Nothing luxurious, but it has the basics for a short stay and is good value.

Breakfast was good, and the woman preparing it was really nice, though she didn’t speak much English and we don’t know Polish. The rest of the stay felt like a very bad experience. Our bedroom didn’t look like the picture, the bathroom door was broken despite the lady saying it had been fine before, and the room had no trash can or hair dryer. The blanket was unclean. They brought those items after we asked. We also asked to leave our luggage for 5-6 hours after checkout. The lady said that was possible, but we had to return exactly at 5 pm because nobody would be at the desk during the day. We couldn’t tell if this was a hotel or a house, since there was no 24-hour service. We felt really mistreated, maybe because we’re Asian?

The photos didn’t match the room, and breakfast was poor. It was cold inside, with a really bad damp smell and mold on the walls and in the bathroom. The hot water also stopped while I was showering. A horrible stay.
