Grace Apartments

A lovely studio right in the Old Town, with a kettle, microwave, hot plate and fridge in the room. The main square, a park and local shops are all within a five minute walk. Highly recommend.

It was clean and affordable, and very close to the shopping mall, but the room was much smaller than the photos made it look. There wasn't much space, and no wardrobe or closet. The fridge was switched off, which left a bit of a strange smell, and there was no microwave in the room either. It's on the second floor with no lift or wheelchair access, so you have to use the stairs.

They left us out on the street in the middle of the season. We showed up two hours early, were told to return at 3 pm, and that seemed fair. But when we came back and called, the woman said they'd double-booked and had no room for us. In those two hours? I tried to ask what had happened, but she hung up before explaining. I called several times from two different numbers with no answer. When I called from my partner's phone, she picked up and sounded annoyed with me. The audacity was unbelievable. I contacted Expedia, who knew nothing about any change to my reservation. Someone there tried calling her too, with no answer. An absolute disgrace to hospitality. The joke's on them, though: Expedia found us a much nicer place and took proper care of us. Avoid at all costs.

Compact, clean and convenient sums it up. It's small, but works well for three or four nights, and the main square is just a five minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay.
