Green Avenue Apartments

There was plenty of natural light in this clean, well-kept apartment, which felt warm and inviting. It’s thoughtfully furnished and comfortable, with a layout that works for both short and longer stays. Shops, transport, and local attractions are easy to reach from the convenient location. Good value for money and a pleasant place to call home.

The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, and we never got fresh towels. Staff weren’t on site, and the people at the separate luggage storage location were rude and unhelpful. We also weren’t told how self check-in worked, so we waited around for about 30 minutes just to get into the room or leave our bags. One day the shower was freezing cold, and there wasn’t even a safe for valuables. The building was constantly noisy. It was a very disappointing stay and fell short of what we expected.

The apartment was clean, including the plates, cutlery and cups, and had good WiFi. It’s a short walk to the town centre, and Wawel Castle is about five minutes away if you turn right outside the building. Check-in codes for the building and key arrived in good time. There’s a small fridge, two electric hobs and a kettle. They also dealt with a boiler issue the same day. Luggage storage after check-out is free and a short walk away, on the way to the centre. A great place to stay in Krakow.

The heating and electricity went out repeatedly, sometimes on consecutive evenings, and the hot water was unreliable too. Some appliances didn’t work, and repairs came late. The apartments were advertised as suitable for 10 people, but they didn’t have enough equipment or sleeping space for that many. Comfort and the handling of problems were far below what was promised.
