Hotel Lorenzo

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything during my stay was comfortable and convenient. Although the hotel isn't in the centre, the transport links are great. The tram takes about 20 minutes to get there and uses a separate line, so it doesn't get stuck in traffic and I never worried about being late. There's a shared kitchen for cooking or warming food, a kettle in the room for making tea, and a laundry room for washing clothes. Thank you, Ewa!

The room wasn't clean and the air was stuffy. Nobody had even opened a window before offering it to me. There was no shampoo or hair dryer in the room, so I had to go downstairs, ask for them, and carry them back myself. The restaurant closing time was another issue: I was told at check-in it stayed open until 9:30 pm, but on Sunday it closed at 8 pm, and nobody had warned me. When I came back and asked for dinner, they said the restaurant was closed and so were all the food places nearby because it was Sunday. If you book here, don't expect to be treated like a guest or to get a meal on Sunday 😖

I contacted the hotel manager about our upcoming visit, and she was attentive and very helpful with what we needed. The staff have been great so far. It sounds like the service will be great, and I'm looking forward to our stay :D

The staff's kindness and helpfulness really stood out during our four nights at this boutique hotel on the outskirts of Krakow. We arrived very late on the first night, and they arranged a meal for us. Reception also booked taxis, sorted out trips, and shared lots of useful information. Irene at reception was especially helpful: she arranged to post letters locally and later contacted us on her own mobile when we got home about an item of clothing we'd left behind. The room was very clean and the hotel was well maintained to a high standard. I'd highly recommend it for the staff alone.
