Getting around is easy: the airport bus stops right at the hotel, as does the bus to Wieliczka. It’s in a quiet area, with no noise at night. Breakfast was excellent and had a really wide selection. There’s a bottle in the room, and water dispensers on every floor where you can refill it, including with sparkling water.

We spent New Year's at the hotel, and I'd rate the stay 3 stars. Breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, and the towels were changed daily. The big issue was the cold. The fan heaters barely worked in all four of our rooms, so it seemed to be a hotel-wide problem. After two nights, an additional radiator made things a little warmer. A friend left her Apple Watch in the room. We reported it at reception, and the cleaning manager said he had searched but couldn't find it. We asked to go in and look ourselves, but they wouldn't let us, and we couldn't understand why. We went to the room door and could hear the watch ringing inside. When we returned to reception, someone came with us, and we found it.

The location is excellent for trams and buses, and the Old Town is less than 5 minutes away. The ongoing construction can wake you up, though. WiFi was unreliable, and the smart TVs are locked so you can't cast or stream to them. After a long day exploring, you'll have to use your phone, partner, or iPad for entertainment.

The breakfast was decent, with a good choice, but the restaurant and bar are expensive. Rooms are clean yet very basic, with no safe, fridge, or proper storage. The heating didn't work and made such a racket that we'd have had to turn it off anyway. There wasn't even a corkscrew or bottle opener, which I've never come across even in a Travelodge. The worst part was returning after a long day at 17:00 to find our room being cleaned. They may be short staffed, but that's ridiculous. I've never had that happen at another hotel, and I couldn't recommend this one.
