Iris Aparthotel

Breakfast was a real surprise, there was loads to choose from. The reception team were helpful and spoke good English, and the shower was good, with clean towels, shower gel, and soap. The rooms are small but have what you need. The TV has nothing in English, and the plain white walls could use some pictures. The location isn't in the middle of the old town, which is reflected in the price. It's a 10 minute walk to the train station and 15 minutes to the old town. For quick, cheap food, there's a good takeaway hut: leave the place, turn right, and it's at the end of the road. I booked for value and wasn't disappointed. I'd book again.

I want to thank the lovely team most of all. Reception, kitchen staff, and housekeeping were all friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean, and I liked getting a fresh bottle of drinking water every day. It's a 10min walk from the bus station and easy to get around by tram. I'd recommend this hotel to friends.

Hotel IRIS on Topolowa 40 was a really happy find for us. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. Our fifth-floor room was spacious and had everything we needed, including an electric kettle and fridge. The furniture was beautiful, the armchairs cozy, and the bed comfortable. It had the basics, two cups, two glasses, and two teaspoons, plus tea, coffee, and bottled water replenished daily, a nice touch. The bathroom was huge. There was air conditioning, which I imagine is essential in summer, especially under the roof where it can get hot. We came in spring, when it was still chilly, so didn't need it. The hotel is on a surprisingly quiet, peaceful street, even though it's right by the train station and main bus terminal, in a beautiful neighborhood. Walking to the city center takes about 15-20 minutes, which is great if you like walking, but might feel far if you don't. If I'm lucky enough to visit Kraków again, I'd definitely stay here.

The staff were so hospitable and cheerful, and the room was clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was great too. The breakfast staff were very accommodating and even offered to make each of us an extra portion of scrambled eggs. The location is close to the city center, and we couldn't have found a better hotel at that price. 100% recommended!
