The location made things easy, with tea cafes, restaurants, street food, several supermarkets, and public transport close by. The apartment was clean and cozy, and the owner was especially kind. I spent a week at Mona Lisa Apartment. On my first night in Krakow I developed a skin infection. The owner quickly shared contact details for international hospitals with staff experienced in treating foreign patients, and offered to call for me if language became a barrier. When my doctor said I should change my pillowcase every day, the owner provided clean ones for the whole week. I really appreciated that generosity. My train was dramatically delayed, so I arrived very late, but the self check-in directions were clear and easy. After a long trip, the clean room, cozy bed, and simple check-in were just what I needed. I booked a one-bedroom apartment, and it was spotless and well equipped for a stay: washing machine and detergent, iron and ironing board, drying rack and hangers, full kitchen utensils, plus a coffee machine, coffee grounds, and tea.
