Luxury Mint Apartments Main Square

We were four ladies staying here in November 2024. We’d planned to come Friday to Monday, then decided to arrive on Thursday instead. I contacted the apartment team and they were helpful, especially Baratoz, who helped us over WhatsApp. We arrived in the evening to a lovely, clean apartment with everything we needed. There were two things we’d change if we came again. The two skylights couldn’t be seen through, and we couldn’t move the blinds, so we had no idea what the weather was until we went outside. I loved the huge bath, but the other three couldn’t get in, so next time we’d ask for a room with a shower. We’d also want more bedrooms, because leaving the sofa made up as a bed made it awkward for two of us to sit. The trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau was the one thing that put a dampener on our holiday. I booked it with bartosz and paid the company four weeks before we arrived. On Friday, the day before the Saturday trip, I got a text saying the driver would pick us up at 6am and take us together to Auschwitz to queue for tickets. Long story short, we ended up with a polish tour guild because all English guilds were sold out. I contacted Bartosz, who spoke to the company for us. They said they would arrange a partial refund, but I never received it, and the company wouldn’t answer my WhatsApp messages. That’s the only real downside I can honestly mention. I would return to these apartments.

We spent four days in this very nice, clean, well-equipped apartment in the centre of Krakow’s old town, and had a really good experience. The staff were friendly, and we quickly sorted out the requests we had. I’d recommend these apartments to anyone wanting to stay in the centre and feel the pulse of Krakow right from the living room.

The location was great, but we found much nicer accommodation nearby for a similar price and with much better service. We arrived at midnight after booking through Booking.com. As soon as we opened the apartment door, a strong tobacco smell hit us. It looked clean inside, but the skylight windows couldn’t be opened. After sitting there for five minutes, we both felt so nauseous from the smell that we regretfully decided we couldn’t stay. A couple of other problems made things worse: a glass panel on the mezzanine balcony was dangerously loose, and only one bed had been made up despite there being two guests. The owners couldn’t offer us another apartment and showed very little understanding.

The breakfast was excellent, delivered to the door in packed-lunch style at 7am or 8am, and more than enough to start the day. The apartment itself was one of the best I’ve stayed in, with everything excellent, including cleanliness and amenities. It had a kettle, washing machine, oven, microwave, iron and ironing board, and hairdryer. It’s in a great spot near bars and restaurants.
