Modern and Cosy Apartment Near Krakow's Old Town

The location was exactly where I wanted to stay, right in the center, and I liked the bed. But the service was extremely bad for an hospitality business. The host was the main problem. The company has more than 20 apartments, yet the email and phone go to one girl who seems to treat it like a little extra job. She didn’t answer during the day, or even at night when she said she would. She mostly replied when money was involved. I asked for early check-in and got no answer, then had to wait 4hours to check in at 3pm. There’s no sound isolation, so cars and people outside feel like they’re right in the apartment. No extraction in the kitchen meant lots of flies, the shower was really small, and the TV was badly placed. The wifi password on the door is wrong, so you have to call her for the right one, if she answers. There are better places in the same area with much better service. Don’t go.

The location is very good, but the apartment hadn’t been cleaned to a good standard. The floor was dirty and the surfaces were dusty. The TV usually didn’t work properly and needs updating.

Avoid this place. We booked an apartment for a popular date, and the reservation was confirmed without any issues for a month. Then the owner called today saying there had been a “mistake,” the apartment wasn’t available anymore, and asking us to cancel. We thought mistakes happen and agreed, believing it really was an unfortunate mix-up. A few hours later, the same apartment was listed again for TWICE the price. That doesn’t look like a mistake to me, but conniving and disrespectful treatment of customers. Anyone considering booking should think twice. It seems a reservation isn’t guaranteed if the owners spot a chance to make more money. I don’t recommend it and strongly advise against it!

We had a spacious, very warm room in a quiet neighborhood, with a comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, and a spotless bathroom with super hot water. The meeting point was perfectly located: the historic center is a 10-minute walk away, the castle 5 minutes, and the Jewish Quarter 15 minutes. We chose self-check-in, which worked perfectly. We handled everything ourselves without going to the main office for keys, saving time and money. Email communication with the property was excellent. There are curtains, but they don’t block all the light, so bring a sleeping mask if, like me, you want the room totally dark. Just remember you’re renting a flat, not a hotel room. Nobody makes the bed or changes the linens. We actually prefer that, since we don’t like anyone coming into our room and touching our things while we’re out.
