We spent five days here, and the apartment was spotless and neatly set up. The host was fantastic and ready to help with whatever we needed. There are plenty of little shops, cafes and a mall nearby, and the city centre is walkable. A tram stop with lots of lines is just five minutes away on foot. Highly recommended.

The location is really handy, with shops all around, transport close by and even a hospital nearby. The house looked just like it did on the platform, and our host helped with everything we asked for. We had a great stay and I'd choose it again if I come back to Krakow. Highly recommend!

We had a frustrating stay in this apartment in Makarska. The location was fine, but the access problems, poor communication and bedding situation made the visit much worse than we expected. I wouldn't recommend it based on what happened to us. We arrived an hour after reception had closed because traffic was heavy, and the intercom wasn't working. Another resident was stuck outside too. Eventually a resident's friend let us in. We called customer service right away, but they kept saying the intercom worked and asked us to make a video of ourselves using it. We explained several times that going outside to record would leave us locked out again. Six of us had already tried it, and I doubted it would suddenly work. I was also late for a birthday dinner reservation, so I made a quick recording on the way out after trying the intercom what felt like 60 times. I was annoyed that they ignored our concerns instead of listening. They later said I hadn't recorded it calmly, but I was rushing to dinner, and the restaurant was kind enough to keep our table despite the delay. Customer service was slow to understand English and didn't seem willing to help. We had to leave for the booking without knowing whether we'd be able to get back in, which was stressful. The apartment also wasn't set up for six guests as advertised. There were two proper beds, but the two sofa beds weren't suitable for two people each. We got only three blankets for six people, even though we paid extra for the additional guest. I slept without a proper blanket on the first night. I reported the shortage when we arrived, but after hours of back-and-forth it wasn't fixed until the next morning. We needed four sleeping spaces and were told no when we asked for another blanket. The customer service conversations were extremely difficult, and they didn't seem to understand or address the problems. It felt as if we were being blamed for the intercom, even though another resident had the same issue. We thought we might not get into the accommodation again unless we rang random neighbours. That made the evening miserable. After messaging for hours, someone finally brought a blanket and tried to apologise with chocolate. I didn't think the chocolate was necessary, but it was a nice gesture. I'm editing this review to give the full story because my original short review didn't explain what happened, and the response from customer service made me look bad. If someone had checked the intercom and brought the blanket we needed, I wouldn't have written this. The reply to my original review was so frustrating that here's the longer version. I hope it helps anyone considering booking.

There were some good points: the interior was clean, staff were friendly, and downtown was just six minutes away by taxi. There were also lots of amenities nearby. But the underground parking was disorganized and hard to find a way through, with no internet access and no signs showing how to get from the lot to the building. Since calls and internet weren't available, getting directions from staff took a long time. The Wi-Fi and internet connection were unstable too, though staff eventually fixed that. There was also a sewage smell in the bathroom.
