Poleski Hotel

We still talk about the breakfast, especially those chocolate croissants! We stayed four nights and really enjoyed it. Everyone we dealt with was lovely and helpful, and the rooms were great. The location is close to everything, without the city centre prices. A mini fridge for water or snacks would have been useful, and English channels or a streaming service on the TV would be nice since we couldn’t understand what was on. Still, we had a great time and would totally recommend it.

Breakfast came with plenty of choice and one of the best views, looking toward the castle. The staff were kind and supportive, and the rooms have everything you need, even if they’re basic. It’s a small hotel along the Wisla boulevards, with lovely views from the rooms. There was a little wear and tear, but nothing significant. I’d recommend it and come back.

The castle across the river looks amazing from here, and I doubt you’d get a better view even at a more expensive hotel. The rooms are basic but very spacious, and everything is clean and well looked after. The staff speak English and treated us well. The main square in the old town is a 15-20 minute walk, with public transport stops nearby. Coming from the airport, bus number 300 drops you 500m from the hotel. No complaints at all.

This is what you’d expect from a three-star place, and I wouldn’t come back. The service was a little unfriendly, and it felt more like a party hotel than somewhere for families or anyone wanting peace and quiet. The shower was broken, the beds seemed to be from the 70's, and the carpet had vague stains. The room door was hard to open.
