The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and breakfast had plenty of good options. My husband and I stayed last weekend, and we’d happily come back. The junior room was lovely and clean, but the bed and pillows really made it for me. The mattress was so comfortable, and I haven’t slept that well in ages. I’d love to know where the pillows came from so I could buy some.
The team really made the stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the live piano gave the dining room a lovely feel when we had dinner one evening. The food itself was nothing special, honestly. We had a spacious suite during our three-night family trip to Krakow. The hotel is new and nicely designed. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the center, or you can take the tram to get there faster. On weekdays it seems more geared toward business travelers, but we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the atmosphere the staff have created.
The price was amazingly welcoming 👌🏻, and it’s a lovely boutique hotel with excellent design. Service was outstanding, and the staff provided a bed and bowls for our two cats, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was decent, though nothing exceptional, and the location was good. We mostly got around by Uber and on foot, but next time I’d choose somewhere closer to Old Town. There was some confusion around the pet policy. I booked through Accor’s system, which officially showed that pets were allowed at this property, and we’re Accor members. The hotel confirmed just days before we arrived that they’d take us with our pets, but we were placed in a disability room because the hotel doesn’t allow pets. We also had to notify staff whenever we left the cats in the room. We travel internationally with our well-behaved cats regularly, so that felt unnecessary. It’s a beautiful property, though a few more amenities would be welcome.
The breakfast setup worked really well, and the barista coffee was good. We also had dinner at the restaurant once and enjoyed it. The hotel is nicely designed, with spacious, clean rooms and friendly staff. Having different pillows to choose from was a plus. Nothing to complain about :)
The breakfast was almost perfect, with fresh fruit, goose pâté, aged cheese, and well-prepared meat and cheese snacks with tuna. Even some Raffles can’t match it. One small thing: the bread under the Benedict eggs was about half a loaf thick :)) A thin, lightly fried toast, or even a croissant, would make the dish smoother and look better. There also weren’t any paper or other towels available for drying hands at breakfast. As a status member, I’d suggest listing which welcome drinks come with each status level, since the selection varies and isn’t stated anywhere. The aromatherapy, thoughtful service, and stylish rooms made this a standout in Accor Krakow’s collection. If you want something special instead of a standard Novotel or Mercure, The Crown in Krakow is a great choice. It feels more like a 4++ or 5* than a 4*. I’ve already booked my return. Thank you.
