Hotel Ostaniec

The restaurant was hard to enjoy on Friday: a large group had a party with live music next door, and staff kept the doors open. It disturbed our dinner, we couldn’t talk to each other, and we ended up eating quickly and leaving so we could have a conversation. The hotel itself was clean, the food delicious, and the sauna nice. Standard rooms are very small, though I only slept there, so that was fine. Some staff are very nice, while others come across as pretentious. There’s a pool table and foosball, but you have to buy coupons to play, which is ridiculous.

Please do not get a massage here. My wife was assaulted during a massage at this property, and the staff and management did not take it seriously or do anything to address it. Instead, they said she had lied. When I reported what happened, the staff laughed and shrugged it off. Even after police came to the property, the hotel did not treat it seriously. The next day, my wife and I spent two hours at the police station giving official statements. She has understandably been emotionally harmed by this, and the hotel staff gave us nothing but grief when we reported it. It’s shocking that an allegation like this would not be taken seriously. If you’re thinking of staying here, please reconsider, and don’t get a massage, it isn’t safe.

A nice family vacation spot, surrounded by nature and castles, with plenty of activities to do. Everything else was really good, though I did miss having a mini fridge in the hotel room.

Quiet, green setting, good prices, delicious food, wellness and spa, and a grill. Internet and GSM access were perfect, and the personnel were amazing. Simply perfect, and Visa friendly :-)
