Zajazd nad Sapiną

The food surprised me in a good way. It was really tasty and seasoned well, and the potato pancakes were among the best I've tried. The dining room is another story: we waited a long time both to order and to get the bill. The kitchen isn't the problem, it seems to be the waitresses, so maybe they need better training or more staff. We spent longer waiting to be served than eating.

We found the place clean and welcoming, though the parking area is a little cramped. It was oddly less busy than the restaurants nearby, which suited us just fine :) The prices are very appealing, and the portions and quality hold up well against the competition. Dishes came out at a decent pace and together; the soups were okay too. I'd definitely recommend it.

We were six, and they got our order wrong. Three of us never got a meal, and the women working there didn't bring the compotes either. The staff seemed distracted and sometimes absent, so I wouldn't want to return. The food itself was mediocre, the kind of thing I think most people could make better at home. The setting, atmosphere, and location are lovely, but that's about the only upside. A complete failure, highly recommend it.

The service was so warm and polite that it made us want to return, and the wait was much shorter than at other restaurants nearby. We visited two days ago and enjoyed the food, especially the pike-perch, kartacze, and pork chop with cheese. Prices seemed reasonable too. Thanks for being so welcoming, and I'd encourage others to give the place a visit.
