We’re staying in section “C19” of the apartment complex, and today, 18.08.2023, we’ve had the second building alarm, around 13:55. The first was around 08:00. No one from Sun and Snow contacted us to say whether either alarm was real. I had to go to reception (Porternia) to find out they were false. The Sun and Snow office “biuro” didn’t open until 09:00. When I spoke with someone there after 9:00, they didn’t know about the 08:00 alarm, but said THE ALARM HAS BEEN GOING OFF RECENTLY AND THERE IS AN ERROR WITH THE SYSTEM!!! A guest review from 2 months ago also mentioned the alarms, so this has been reported before and seems to be a long-term problem. Sun and Snow doesn’t seem to care about guest safety. People have been gathering outside in the rain, unsure what to do and getting no communication from the complex or Sun and Snow staff. We’re on day 2 of 10 with young kids, and this hasn’t been a restful vacation. Other problems so far: the door doesn’t close properly, the bathroom sink is blocked, the couch is falling apart and leaving black flakes everywhere, the Wi-Fi is terrible, cellular reception is poor, there’s no AC, and hot water runs out quickly, even when we’re just washing the kids. The apartment is tidy but dated, and we had to clean spiderwebs from several spots on the ceiling. On the plus side, it’s close to the beach, restaurants, bars, and shops, and there’s underground parking for an additional 20 PLN and day. Free parawany are available for guests to use.

We couldn’t get out of the apartment because the handle jammed. After it was fixed, we had to lift the door to open it, and the service was awful. The lady also forgot to bring the duvet that was missing for two days. There were four of us but only three small duvets, and this is our second bad experience with Sun & Snow. It’ll be our last. They don’t care about customers, and the price is too high for conditions like these. The place was cramped, dirty, and smelled bad. The carpets need freshening up, the bathroom lights were dim with no new bulbs, and the washing machine drained into the shower tray. Cupboards were stuffed with musty blankets and other smelly things, while dusty shelves held unnecessary items. There were dead insect marks all over the walls and ceiling, and a broken, rickety clothes dryer on the tiny terrace. The kitchen cabinets and drawers were filthy too. I don’t recommend it.
