Hotel Czarny Potok Resort SPA & Conference

For the price, the room was much too small for my family, who could barely fit. We also had to go outside building number 9 to reach the indoor pool. On a cold day, it would have been much better to stay in the same building as the pool. Poor value for money.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, easily a 10/10. We had a dreamlike three-night stay at Hotel Czarny Potok Resort & Spa. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms modern and clean. The spa had everything you could need 👍 There were also bowling, virtual reality, and game rooms for adults and children, plus indoor and outdoor pools. It’s a huge complex with luxurious interiors, and the reception entrance hall is especially impressive. I’d highly recommend it.

Getting around the buildings was the worst part. From building 9 to dinner, the outdoor walk takes about five minutes, which is fine, but in the rain the indoor route can take 20 minutes, with a compass and a few prayers to find your way. The path between buildings such as 6 and the main building is ridiculous, with so many elevators that you’re bound to get lost. We probably won’t choose this hotel next time because of a few things like that. The hotel looks new and kind of luxurious at first, but both my family and my friends’ family had very cold rooms. Their heating was fixed after a few hours, ours wasn’t. When we came back from wellness to a cold room with a little kid, it was not what we wanted. A man at reception sent someone to fix it, but he said it would be fine and it wasn’t. It was about 20°C. The food was good, but most of the waitresses looked at us with what seemed like hate and sadness. To be fair, one was really nice. When the lobby is empty, you can wait and nobody comes, though I could live with that. The building layout, though, really made the trip less enjoyable.

The wellness area was really good, and the food was too. But with my injured knee, the long walks between our room and the restaurant, pool, and other places were difficult. The hotel layout is odd, with corridors linking the room blocks. I was also disappointed with the cleanliness: the toilet and sink weren’t clean.
