Hotel Henryk

The rooms are a little older, but clean. The staff are friendly, and the breakfasts are good, fresh, and enough, though the portions aren't very large. It's centrally located, close to attractions and the Henryk slope.

The location is very good. Such a shame it isn't open.

We stayed from July 25-29, 2020 and were very pleased with the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were generous, tasty, filling, and varied. Even without a buffet, we always got a large breakfast with hot food and couldn't finish it. The service was among the best I've experienced, kind, attentive, cheerful, and helpful. The center, including the promenade, pump room, and park mountain, is very close. The direct access road is being renovated, but you can go down the stairs by the nearby Małopolanka guesthouse, and the staff can give directions. The hotel followed all the safety rules during the "new normal": disinfectant was available at the entrance, reception, dining room, and elsewhere, and it was regularly replenished. I never found an empty bottle. Staff wore face shields. In the dining room, each guest had an assigned table instead of a buffet, and it was disinfected thoroughly after meals. Our room was very nice and faced away from the street. The hotel isn't on the main street anyway, so noise wouldn't have been an issue. We also had a spacious terrace with tables and chairs where my fiancée and I could have morning coffee and evening beers. The room and bathroom were clean. Housekeeping was available on request because of COVID. We used it once, and the cleaning was thorough. There’s a glass elevator with a view of the city, and guest parking is free. We’re very pleased and will return to this charming city and hotel.

Breakfast was generous and really tasty, and the price felt very fair for what you get. The jacuzzi and sauna are included once per stay, which is a nice extra. There’s also a lounge with a fireplace where you can unwind in the evening. The hotel is spotless, the staff are exceptionally courteous and helpful, and it’s only about five minutes from the city center. Highly recommend it for its class.
