The private entrance is handy, and the apartments work well for families with kids or dogs. The owners are friendly but discreet. There’s a shared lawn for recreation in front of the building, with a football pitch just a few steps away. It makes a good base for hiking and visiting the Czech side. The park is about a 15-20 minute walk, and Czech beer and snacks are around 1 km away.

You can get to plenty of places and find lots of options for trips from here. The apartment is functional and close to everything you need, yet tucked away somewhere quiet. I recommend it.

The room and kitchen were nicely decorated, and the induction hob came in handy. It was a shame there was no microwave. The bathroom had a wide shower and an okay sink, though the toilet felt a bit too close to the wall. The location was quiet and away from the noise, but about a 2 km walk from the center of Kudowa. We’d asked about the Antonio Apartment in the listing, then found out on arrival that we were staying in Antonio 2 Apartment. That detail didn’t bother us, and free parking on site was a plus. What did bother us was the double room: it seemed either not cleaned for a long time or poorly maintained. There was lots of dust and hair around and under the bed, and the bedding wasn’t completely clean, with some red stains. The mattress was very soft and sank so much it was hard to get up, or even turn over while sleeping. The bed creaked. The TV was a disaster too, with only six channels, all TVP, when there are usually more basic channels available.
