The rooms are clean, but there’s a damp, musty smell in the bathroom. The shower door hardly stays in place, and you can’t adjust the radiator. After 6:00 a.m., the noise starts, with children arriving at the daycare and the front door slamming.

We didn’t get much sleep. The bed sagged, and the room smelled musty. There was no fan or ventilation, so opening the window helped a little. It was clean, and at that low price we weren’t expecting luxury. Still, the standard could do with a small upgrade now and then.

After many stays, I considered myself a regular. I even kept quiet once when I had to sleep in a room that smelled of cigarette smoke and made it impossible to sleep. This time I booked a week ahead, maybe even ten days. I was skiing on Saturday when someone called. I didn’t pick up because I had the day off and was enjoying it. When I called back that evening, I was told my booking had been cancelled and there was no room for me. The explanation was that someone, a private company, had dictated that uniformed services rent the whole hotel. How could the owner do this to guests who booked in advance? You made a deal with the Polish state at the expense of regular customers. Fine, but wait until the guests who booked ahead have left. You don’t care about them, so we’ll see what happens after those uniformed services go. You’ll be paying taxes on an empty hotel! Avoid these companies! They don’t care about people, so let’s leave them alone. Best wishes to everyone who had the same problem.

There’s a convenient location, a big free car park with room for everyone, and the staff are really nice and friendly. The rooms look tidy, but they weren’t very clean: there were stains on the bed and chairs, hair from other guests, and dust. The furniture is worn, and I couldn’t get Wi-Fi.
