Hotel Vega

The location was convenient, close to both the train station and the city center, but my stay at Hotel Wega in Lebork last summer was disappointing. Breakfast was the biggest problem. Food wasn’t stored properly, and the same leftovers appeared on multiple days. The coffee maker also didn’t work right, so getting a fresh cup in the morning was difficult. There were flies inside the fruit punch throughout the whole week, which affected the drink and made me concerned about hygiene in the dining area. With so many international guests, mostly from Germany, the hotel didn’t reflect well on the beautiful city of Lebork. The careless food storage and preparation, broken coffee maker, and flies in the drinks made the experience unsatisfactory. If you’re looking for a pleasant, comfortable stay, avoid breakfast. Don’t let the pictures below fool you.

The room was clean, but the bathroom sink was dirty. We asked the staff to take care of it, and they cleaned it immediately. They were friendly and helpful. The hotel is average, but fine for 1-2 nights.

The staff were nice, but my room was very noisy. The birds were loud, so try to get a room that doesn’t face the park or forest. People upstairs were making noise late in the evening too.

Some staff members were very friendly. The food quality was inconsistent, and the rooms were noisy. On some mornings breakfast ran late, and at times there wasn’t enough for everyone.
