Hotel Gwarna

The restaurant food was exceptional, and there are plenty of activities to fill your stay. The rooms are excellent, and the spa, gym, and swimming pool are all included in the final price. For me, this is the best hotel in Legnica, maybe even Poland. No need to look elsewhere, 10/10. We’ve tried the rest, just go to the best.

My room on the fourth floor was large and clean. The spa was very good too. The sports massage was excellent, though the face massage wasn’t as good. There’s a large sauna, where I wish everyone knew the rules and kept quiet, plus a pool. Breakfast has a good range, so most people should find something they like. The scrambled eggs weren’t very tasty, but at least they were made with real eggs. There was a completely dirty fork at my table, and crumbs under it. For dinner I ordered their special salad, but it came with feta instead of the goat cheese listed on the menu. The white rose tea had no taste. Overall, a good hotel, with very helpful and engaged staff.

The hotel is well placed in town, and the staff were great and friendly. I stayed 12 nights for work. The rooms were spacious and had air conditioning and a mini fridge, though I found the bed very hard and the shower was mounted very high. I used the bar and restaurant, where the food was very nice and good value for a hotel. I missed the rooftop bar because it opened the day I left, but the staff were working hard to get it ready. There’s a spa, pool, and sauna. The pool is small but was nice for a few relaxing lengths after work. It seemed open to the public, though, and noisy kids were in there a few times. With so little space, that wasn’t great, and the sauna didn’t offer an escape from the noise either. The sauna itself was a good size. The games area was an odd surprise. It includes ten pin bowling on a large first floor, and it was open at weekends. It got very loud, and the doors were left open close to some rooms. I was glad my room was at the far end of the corridor. A nice hotel overall, with good staff and a great town location.

I went in expecting little after reading some lukewarm reviews, but the hotel impressed me. It’s in a good location, clean, and has an excellent choice at breakfast. We had dinner there one night and really enjoyed the food. It wasn’t especially cheap, though Poland generally isn’t anymore. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and eager to help. English is widely spoken in the hotel. Thank you.
