Hotel i Restauracja Admirał

Food service for tour groups was completely disorganized, and there wasn’t enough to eat even when we arrived at the scheduled time. The hotel says breakfast is included, but there was barely anything available. What we could find was usually watery scrambled eggs and sausage, with no vegetables or fruit, and not even a coffee machine. I’ve never seen food of such poor quality.

The breakfast was basic but enough: omelet, sausages, condiments, and things to make sandwiches. The coffee machine worked. Our rooms were clean, and we couldn’t hear the neighboring rooms, though every sound from the corridors came through. The receptionist spoke English well and was welcoming. We booked through Booking because it said pets were welcome, but after booking, a charge of 25 euros per pet per night appeared out of nowhere.

The price didn’t match the quality. There was a bad smell throughout the hotel, and the room wasn’t clean. The children found someone’s bottle under the bed and a needle in the wall beside it. There was no night curtain, the sound insulation was poor, and there wasn’t even any soap.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the dinner was excellent. Breakfast was included, and the off-season rate was surprisingly cheap. It was quiet and comfortable, and more than met my needs for a night’s sleep, even though it was a bit out of the way despite being near where I needed to be. Personally, I’d have taken the Christmas decorations down by now.
