Hotel Pałac Krotoszyce

The service and food were amazing, way beyond what I expected! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Our check-in was easy, and the staff were very pleasant. The room was basic but had what we needed for a night. Parking is available, and we enjoyed the pool, plus the good breakfast and lunch. The hotel grounds are nice for a walk in the park, and there's a little playground for young kids.

The place itself is beautiful, which makes the service especially disappointing. We spent $700.00 zlt on dinner for four. The meal included filet mignon, salad, appetizers, spinach, a bottle of wine, pierogis, tea, whiskey, and more. The food was okay, but we had asked for medium steaks and got well-done ones. The waitress didn't seem to care. She came to take our order and then bring the food, but never checked back. We had to get her attention ourselves to order more drinks and food, and later to ask for the bill. We wanted dessert too, but after waiting an hour, we paid and left. The service was really bad.

The setting is great, and the building is beautiful, with an interesting history that makes it worth seeing. I liked the area and what was on offer, but the restaurant let it down. The food was nothing like I expected from the menu, and I couldn't manage to eat it. The furnishings and colors also feel completely tasteless and don't fit the building or its history. There's a particular pool smell in the hall, too. Someone should take more care with the restaurant. It's on a low level compared with the rest of the place.
