The staff were so friendly, and yes, they’re a big part of what makes the place special. We especially liked the breakfast, with lots of choices for a small number of guests and everything topped up quickly. Our room looked out over the park, and a walk there on our last morning was a lovely way to unwind. The restored villa sits in a quiet park in Legnica’s Tarninów district. We stayed three nights, slept peacefully with the windows open, and heard no traffic, just a cool breeze. Parking was easy, with a few spaces out front, more behind the hotel, and street parking as a backup. There’s an upscale restaurant in the hotel, as well as two good nearby places: D&F Delicious Food is stylish and affordable at 40-60 PLN per person, while Ha-Noi has generous portions for 20-40 PLN per person. The building has an interesting past. Ask to see the photo album about its transformation after the Soviet Army left. We’d happily come back.

The rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable, and I slept really well. The bed, sheets, and towels were all excellent. Breakfast was nicely prepared, with all sorts of foods to choose from. There’s a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel. The living rooms are especially beautiful, with striking curtains, decorations, lampshades, and furniture. A really beautiful place, and the service was very good.

The park is a lovely spot to sit back and enjoy some peace. The food was good too. I had a tasty weiner schnitzel, with a crispy, flavourful coating.

The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Not everyone spoke English, but they did their best to get us what we wanted. I’d especially recommend the homemade rose liqueur. The room and restaurant have lovely interiors, and the hotel feels cozy with a historic character.
