Don’t come here expecting luxuries. The house has the basics and suits guests who don’t need much; the price is affordable, and the owners are friendly. What makes the place special is where it sits, with lovely views, the forest nearby, and hiking trails close at hand. If you want to get away from civilization, this could suit you, though you probably won’t be watching TV or getting a signal. Be prepared to drive a bit, since pretty much everything requires a drive.

There’s plenty of parking, and the property is quiet, with picturesque streams beside it. Brzeziniak inn is a nice spot nearby. We stayed over New Year’s Eve in the unassuming cottage, which was quite adequate for ten people. The radiators kept things warm around the clock, and the fireplace wood was included, though we mainly kept the fire going for the atmosphere. Once we had no hot water in the shower for five days, but eight people returning from a winter trail after a blizzard can use a lot. Luckily, the boiler heated another batch quickly. Wi-Fi, mobile internet, and terrestrial TV for anyone who watches television in the Bieszczady Mountains were all weak. I saw that as a plus. The cupboards were generally well stocked, though they were missing vodka glasses. That wasn’t really a problem, since the very friendly hosts would probably have brought some if we’d asked. I highly recommend it.

The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and the owners were really friendly and helpful. There’s a barbecue spot and a place for a bonfire, with lovely scenery all around. It’s a charming place close to hiking trails, with a forest just behind the guesthouse and away from the crowds. You can completely unwind here. Whenever you’re in the Bieszczady Mountains, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back, and I recommend it.

There’s a huge room with a fireplace downstairs, a kitchenette guests can use, and a gazebo with a bonfire behind the house. We used the bonfire on New Year’s Eve, after coming for the holiday and spending a few days hiking in the mountains. The hosts were incredibly kind, the rooms cozy, and the atmosphere wonderful. The price was very reasonable too. We’ll definitely come back!
