The lake is only a short walk down the road, and each cottage has its own barbecue spot behind it. Inside, everything was very clean and looked after, and the bathrooms have been renovated. A peaceful place that works well for families wanting to unwind.

The owner was so kind and helpful, even explaining a quicker way to reach the center through the forest, about a five-minute walk. We spent five days here and loved the lake view. The cottages had everything we needed and were spotless. Highly recommended.

We left after just one night because the kitchen was so disgusting that using it made us feel sick. The cabinets felt sticky and unwashed, and the dishes in them were filthy. There was dust, hair and spiders behind the beds, the floor was awful, and some floorboards stuck up. The bathroom looked new, but it was dirty too. The sink was clearly worn, and the toilet was yellow with grime. I could list plenty more problems. The beds were uncomfortable, with terrible mattresses and a bad sofa bed downstairs. The blinds were covered in dust and did nothing for privacy, you could see straight through them. The playground wasn’t safe for children: the swings were broken and trampoline springs were sticking out. There was barely any grass by the cottages in the upper rows for kids to run on, and the surrounding bushes were overgrown with no fence. The place felt completely neglected. I’d seen the photos beforehand, and they were accurate, but the actual conditions were completely different from what I expected. I don’t recommend these cottages.
