A little worn, though clean. Fine for somewhere to sleep for a day or two.

Free parking, and the main street is close by.

Booking.com stepped in and helped me find another place for the same price, and it was better, so things worked out well for me. The original booking was for the end of July, during the many events planned for Łódź’s 600th anniversary. I’d reserved through Booking.com on May 31st, then on July 3rd a woman who said she was the owner called to tell me I had to cancel. She said the price I’d paid was too low, and she hadn’t noticed the issue for over a month. It’s embarrassing, and the whole thing feels deeply ironic. Dumping is illegal. I don’t recommend this place.

Better to rent an apartment from someone honest. This owner tries to get more money from you close to your dates, while threatening to cancel the booking. Don’t let that fool you. I’d avoid this property completely.

The room was really nice, and it’s in a good spot.
