The hotel covers the basics you’d expect from a 3-star place. Staff in both reception and the restaurant spoke very little English, but they handled things well. A smile now and then would’ve been nice, though. Breakfast was simple, but a bit odd. There were two kinds of cereal and no bowls, milk, or yogurt to go with them. You could choose different coffees, but there was only one cup size, meant for black coffee. Order a latte or cappuccino and the coffee spills over the rim, leaving you with a cup of warm milk.

This is a good hotel for a practical stay, with a fair price for what you get. Don’t expect luxuries. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and it was quiet at night. My party and I both enjoyed the standard hotel buffet breakfast.

The sound insulation was poor, and our neighbors woke us at 7 am while having fun in bed. Wi-Fi was slow and disconnected every five minutes. The password wasn’t in the room, so reception had to print it for us. There was only one set of towels, and we had to ask for another set for the second person.

The large rooms and the child’s bed were welcome, and parking is free. Still, at 160/night, it’s not cheap for the location, and breakfast at 30zl pp felt expensive when the coffee was bad and the tea came in very small cups. There are no kettles in the rooms and no bins in the public areas. The pool looks nice and the jacuzzi is very beautiful, but the smell in the spa isn’t welcoming. Service was inconsistent. They didn’t clean our room one night, though maybe it’s just a bit of teething trouble.
