Hotel Gromada Lomza

We dropped in for a quick lunch and found plenty of good vegetarian choices. The soup, salad, grated cabbage and spinach-and-cheese dumplings were all very nice.

The restaurant stood out for us. We enjoyed the food, and both the dining room and veranda had a lovely feel. From our window there was a beautiful view across the valley, and the main square was only a short walk away. I stayed at Hotel Gromada in Łomża in June 2025 and was pleasantly surprised. The building is older, but inside it was clean, comfortable, and well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful, too. It’s good value for the price, and the peaceful town made for an easy, cozy stay. I’d recommend it to travelers who appreciate comfort, warm hospitality, and local character. They’re also working on accessibility, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a lift being added.

Breakfast came with a magnificent morning view from the restaurant. I really liked the food, from the salmon rolls and pancakes, including the curd-filled ones, to the mozzarella and the usual options. The coffee was good, too. They kindly opened breakfast half an hour early for our group so we could set off sooner. The hotel is close to the town centre for eating out in the evening. It’s been through major renovations and was very neat. Our room was tidy, the window kept out traffic noise, and the air conditioner kept the room cool. The carpet still seemed old, though.

A good breakfast and a central spot in town. There’s plenty of parking, for 25 zl / night. The place was clean and tidy, and our room had a free kettle, tea, coffee and mineral water. Families can choose an apartment, while smaller rooms are available too. Very good value for money.
