Hotel Alhar

I’ll be back. The sauna and jacuzzi area was so clean and cosy, a great place to fully relax. I was here for business again, and the breakfast was top notch for me. The restaurant served amazing, traditional food that was really tasty.

The restaurant is excellent, and the hotel is amazing. This is the place to stay. Don’t bother looking elsewhere.

Everything was tidy and looked after, and the room was really nice. I’d stay here again for sure.

I stayed for the first couple of weeks of 2025, and the hotel was more than I expected for a visit to the small town of lubliniec in Poland. Its location was my only downside, though the train station is less than 20 minutes away and there are bus stops around town. A gym would be nice, but there are plenty of walking routes in Lubliniec, both flat and uphill, if you want to get a run in before unwinding at the spa. The spa and wellness area was free for hotel guests, professional, and relaxing. I spent most evenings there unwinding with a drink, and you can order food from the restaurant to that area. The hotel also has free WiFi with a strong signal throughout. There’s no mini bar, but you can order services to your room, and a supermarket is two minutes away for extra snacks. My double room was clean, comfortable, and bigger than I’d expected, and it was made up daily. Breakfast was a buffet with a good range of breakfast food, coffee, tea, juices, and breakfast desserts. Lunch and dinner were in the hotel restaurant, which was very nice for the price. One evening the pork was a bit tough, but that only happened once during my two weeks there. I arrived in Poland without knowing the language and was worried about communication, but most of the staff spoke English. The people who found it harder still greeted me with smiles and laughter, so we had a positive time working things out. A big thank you to everyone, especially Martyna, who patiently answered all my questions and went out of her way to make me feel welcome, always with a smile, laughter, and great professionalism. Bardzo dziękuję! Thanks as well to Klara, (Zuzanna/ Sousana..?)and Gosia. I always left our conversations in a good mood, and their kindness made me feel especially comfortable and important. You girls went above and beyond. If I pass through here again, I’ll make sure to come back. It was a pleasant, comfortable stay!
