The restaurant is the real highlight here. There’s plenty to choose from at breakfast, and dinner was delicious and clearly a much higher standard than the rest of the hotel. The location is pleasant too, with a private beach, and we had a good time. But the rooms and other facilities feel past their best. There was mold in the bathroom and no air conditioning, so on hot days it was almost impossible to sleep. Our lake-view room was above large fans that ran noisily around the clock, drowning out the birds, and the balcony had no privacy. I think the 4.1 rating is too high. It might suit less demanding guests, but I found it overpriced.

Hotel Masuria was a perfect place for our wedding last year. More than 100 guests came, everyone had a great time, and there were no complaints. The staff were the best, genuinely second to none. The setting is peaceful, out in the countryside and surrounded by nature, and there’s a lovely lake just a short walk from the garden terrace. You can take boats or canoes out, use the lakeside sauna, or relax and swim at the beach. The food was very good, and the head chef did a great job meeting exactly what we wanted for the wedding. There’s also a grill area you can rent. I’d recommend the venue for a wedding or a regular stay.

There’s a lot to do here, including bikes, bowling, table tennis, and indoor and outdoor play areas. You also get access to a beach by the lake. Breakfast is excellent, and the hotel has everything we needed.

The lake views and green grounds are lovely, with garden loungers, hammocks, or just a spot on the grass to relax. The rest didn’t match the price for us. Our rooms were mediocre, the meals uninspired, and the pool was tiny, worn down, and dull. We also had no hot water in the shower for two of our three nights, even after telling the front desk. Definitely overpriced, and the service wasn’t at the level I’d expect for the cost.

It’s a nice hotel in a great setting, looking out over the lake and woodland, especially considering it was being run without a manager. Natalie, our waitress, was lovely and friendly. The room hadn’t been serviced for two days, though, so I had to go looking for fresh towels and toilet paper.
