Piwnica

Really great :-)

The dampness is everywhere, and only one room has a small window. There’s constant rumbling, along with lessons in cleaning. The landlady comes into the room when the landlord is away, and cooking there brings nonstop complaints about the high electricity bill. You can forget about getting a bill. Honestly, it’s embarrassing, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It should be closed.

There’s no sunshine, but that’s fine since I can always walk around the little town of Miechów. I come here every month to unwind after a flight, and it feels like home: a shower, toilet, kitchen, fridges, bar counter, nice lighting, and a cozy feel.

For the price and location, it’s a decent spot to sleep after a long workday. I was in Miechów for business, and my first accommodation plan fell through, so I was set up here instead. A local woman picked me up at the train station, though she didn’t really know where the place was. It only clicked for her after we found the neighboring properties. I only needed to stay one night and spent most of my time running errands elsewhere. The cleanliness, comfort, bathrooms, and everything else were fine. The main downside was that there were no windows, so when I woke up, I couldn’t tell if it was the middle of the night or morning.
