Dream Apart Daglezja

A peaceful spot in a modern building, with customer service handled online. The room could have been a little cleaner, and the restaurant on site was closed. There was no Wi-Fi, either. 😉 The windows only had two curtains, so blinds would have helped with privacy. And I missed having a coffee machine. For the price, I’d have liked a bit more comfort.

The grounds were lovely, with a great view and birdsong, and it was quiet apart from tree cutting and construction starting in the morning. Without that noise, I’d have given it another star. People who like communist-era ruins might find the place perfect. Our fifth-floor apartment looked nice, but it hadn’t been cleaned properly, despite the extra cleaning charge. The refrigerator was shut and had mold from the freezer inside. The shower handle was broken, and there were fingernails on the windows, probably left by earlier guests. The room was supposed to have instructions, but we couldn’t find any. The Wi-Fi router was switched off and didn’t work. There were no curtains or blinds in the bedroom, so it was uncomfortable, and once the sun came up, we had to get up too. A little biofuel for the biofireplace would have been useful. The toilet paper roll was also too small for two people staying almost three days.

The apartment was cozy, very clean, and well equipped. The surroundings were beautiful, quiet, and peaceful.

The higher-up spa building is quieter, with no road traffic noise, and access to it is included in the price. Both buildings are worth visiting.
