Hotel Tequila

We stayed for four days over the Christmas holidays, and the hotel felt completely unprepared for guests, even though it was open for bookings. There was no service at all, so we couldn't even complain about it. Our room was small and very basic: beds, a little table, and a small wardrobe. The bathroom was cramped, with nowhere to put our things, so they fell onto the floor and broke. The worst part was being locked in. Every door was shut after midnight and stayed that way until around nine in the morning. We couldn't get out before then. The owner came just before nine each day to make us breakfast and opened a door for us, but we never knew which one. We had to try them until we found the one we could open. I don't want to imagine how we'd have got out if there had been a fire. I've never experienced anything like it, and we'll never come back. If the owner doesn't want guests, he shouldn't open the hotel. We didn't feel welcome at all, more like we weren't wanted. It's a strange feeling to have during a paid hotel stay.
