Right downstairs is the "Pod Dąbrem" restaurant, with tasty home-style food. The apartment was close to the sea, in a pleasant, quiet area. Inside, it was spacious and neat, and the kitchen and dining space were a welcome extra. It had all the appliances we needed.

Getting to the beach was easy, just two streets away, and although we arrived very early, we were lucky to get into the apartment straight away. The bathtub is in a corner and has no curtain, so a standing shower would leave water everywhere. We had to sit down to wash. The gas stove took a little figuring out: press the knob before turning it. The gas crackling while the stove was still hot felt a bit unsettling. At night, it was a choice between the heat and mosquitoes, so I’d bring a fan. We also couldn’t use the vacuum in the storage room because of its awful smell. A hand brush and dustpan were hard to manage with all the sand we’d brought in from the beach by accident.

The only small letdown was that I never met the owners in person. Still, they were very helpful over the phone, even when I needed a courier to collect a parcel, which was delivered to their address without any trouble. The studio rooms worked well for four people and had a fridge, dishes, kettle, screens, and a TV in each room. The rooms and bathroom were clean. Thanks so much, and I hope to see you again soon 😊

Even though I’d booked by phone with the owner, we arrived and had nowhere to stay. The owner admitted it was their mistake, but I still had to look for another place all over again. They said this hardly ever happens, but it happened to me, and I’m left with a bad feeling about it.
