Villa Rosa

It was clean and tidy otherwise, but the booking’s parking and breakfast descriptions were misleading. There’s no parking on site. We were told to use a paid municipal space on the street or a paid private lot on a neighboring street. “Breakfast available” means going to another place on that street to eat; there’s no breakfast here, even for an extra fee, as with a self-check-in hotel.

The entrance door has a big gap, so hallway light and smells, including disinfectant, get in. It also lets noise through. If someone loud is in the hallway, you hear everything, and there was a small infestation of flies dying there, which can also poison you. The room itself is clean and fresh, with clean bedding and towels. It has a TV, kettle, hairdryer, safe, small ironing board, and I think an iron too. There’s a tiny refrigerator, just enough to cool small 0.5-liter bottles or store some cheese or cold cuts. A 1.5-liter bottle won’t fit. There’s also a small coffee table and two little chairs, and the bathroom has a fairly large shower with a rain shower head. The hotel is well located, only a few minutes from the beach and the Stars Promenade with its many places to eat. The area is quiet, so it’s good for a night’s sleep unless one of those rowdy customers is around. There are two shops and a small restaurant across the street. The staff are friendly and keen to help.

The location is spot on, with the beach just a 5-minute walk away and two shops very close by. Pretty much everything is nearby. The rooms were spotless, and the service was great. I recommend it and will be back.

The rooms were nice and clean, with hairdryers, irons, kettles, and TVs. But there’s no parking, no meals, and no microwave, fridge, or stove. Breakfast is offered at the restaurant across the street. We had a child with us and couldn’t prepare dinner or breakfast. We paid for overnight parking for half a room. That’s the scary part :(
