The beach is very close, but so is the noise from daytime and nighttime entertainment. The management seems to cut corners everywhere: the hallways are dark, with every other light out. Even after I complained that my elderly mother-in-law couldn’t see where she was going, management said it couldn’t fix it. Dinner is sparse, the portions are small, and the food barely warm. The kitchen couldn’t even be bothered to add a little chopped parsley to the boiled potatoes. Reception staff are friendly until the manager joins the conversation.

Meals were good, with a filling breakfast, though there was still meat and bread left over, so some food went to waste. Lunch was good too, but cost extra. It’s a great spot for a family holiday, very close to the beach, although a newer hotel now blocks the sea view. Rooms are clean, but younger guests might not care for the furniture. There’s an elevator to all floors, which makes access easier for disabled guests, and pets are allowed, which is another plus.

The only thing going for it is the location near the sea. The reception area looks nice, but the room was a disaster for what we paid. There was an awful smell that was hard to stay around for long, the bathroom needs renovating, and the decorations were barely attached. The balcony next to the room doesn’t really deserve the name, it’s more like a roof with another roof over it.
