CTZ Jacuzzi Apartments Mielno

The photos on Booking were misleading. It was motel-style, and despite the sky-high price, the bathtub in the middle of the room wasn't a jacuzzi, even though it's called one everywhere. We won't return. The stay was for our 10th anniversary, New Year's Eve, and my birthday, but what I remember is that lying landlady and her lack of sympathy for guests. It ended with my husband taking a breathalyzer test in the car to check he was safe to drive after New Year's Eve. My negative Booking review got a reply from the owner claiming she'd granted us an extended stay. That was a lie. We asked that morning, and she texted that it wasn't possible, but we could have an extra hour because cleaners were scheduled before the next guests. This was New Year's morning. When I said she was putting us in an uncomfortable situation, she offered to book another night for 1000 PLN, then asked us to specify our options. When I wrote that we'd leave as soon as possible, she said our time was up and we had to go. In the end, the power in our room was simply cut off.

The place was cozy, and the interior made a nice impression. It seemed ideal for a vacation for two. But at this price, the lack of cleanliness was really surprising. I won't get into the details since plenty of reviews already describe it.

The room wasn't clean enough, and I expected better comfort for the price. It was supposed to be 22 degrees Celsius, but my own thermometer read 18. I'll leave the rest unsaid.

The hot tub was the main reason we chose this place for a nice weekend together. We followed the property manager's instructions, but it malfunctioned. We drained it and didn't try to restart it. I told the owner it wasn't working and was leaking onto the floor from underneath. We were told to wait until the next day for someone from maintenance to come clean it up. So instead of looking after myself, I spent the whole night mopping water around the tub. When I told the property manager that losing the main attraction, the Jacuzzi that's in the property's name, had ruined our stay and asked for a partial refund, the blame was put on me, with a claim that I'd broken it. Turning on a tap and pressing two buttons might seem complicated to you, but it isn't for most people. I don't keep plumbing and electrical tools in my car, so I honestly don't see how following the manual could damage a hot tub. I didn't get a refund or any other offer, like a discount on a future visit. I don't recommend this place.
