The lakeside setting is a real plus. There's a walking and cycling path around the lake, and you can see the water from the indoor pool. The pool area has a main pool, a shallow one for kids, and jets along the sides of both, plus a jacuzzi, sauna, salt steam room, and aromatic steam room. A few rooms open straight outdoors, which feels a bit awkward when going between the room and pool, though the yard has a nice atmosphere. The rooms could feel cozier, but that's personal preference. Staff were very kind and tried hard to make guests feel welcome, from the meal attendants to the man looking after the pool. Their English wasn't very strong, though they were still willing to help. One person couldn't speak English or German, but I can't judge them for that. There's room for improvement, but given the price and location, it was better than I expected. I'd recommend it.

We spent a week here in August 2018 and would happily recommend it. The pool was to a very high standard, with three different saunas too. The service was professional, and each day brought a different menu with plenty of choice and healthy options. A great place to rest.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the food was tasty. The staff were pleasant as well. My only real gripe was the Wi-Fi, which was weak and kept cutting out. A stronger router might help.

Our room was spotless, and the hotel was very clean overall. The family running it were kind and really helpful.
