I want to warn people about doing business with the Kryczyńskis. Our company repaired a dishwasher for them, but I still haven’t been paid for either the parts or the work. I’d ask for payment in advance or cash, though Ms. Kryczyńska said she’s never prepared to pay cash. The matter has been reported to the police. I don’t recommend them.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and there’s a little shop nearby. Hiking trails start right next to the villa, so you can head into the mountains without driving. We rented a double room and a studio for three on the first floor, and really enjoyed stepping straight onto the terrace in the evenings, even though it was chilly. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. The train line is close, which may bother some people, but it wasn’t an issue for me. I recommend this for a relaxing escape from the crowds.

The setting is picturesque, but the food was terrible. The pork chops and those supermarket-style pseudo-nuggets came with no sauce or ketchup. They could at least try.

A relaxing spa paired with the comfort of an Art Deco villa gives this place a distinctive atmosphere. Its location is wonderful for trips across the Poprad River.

Really nice place. I just missed having a kitchenette. A fridge and kettle in every room would be nice.
