A lovely lunch stop on the way from Warsaw to Mazury, especially if you're visiting the Kurpiowski open-air ethnographic museum. The service was warm and friendly, and the menu combines traditional Polish food with some Georgian specialties.

Really great.

The place has been getting brighter and more characterful inside, and it's in a very pretty area. I've dropped by from time to time, but the food has never really won me over. On my first visit we came for soup: the żurek looked lovely, but I couldn't call it delicious. The potato pancakes with salad and chanterelle sauce were so greasy that the fat drowned out the other flavors. The dill in the salad was the only thing that came through, and it didn't seem very fresh. For five pancakes, the dish cost over thirty złoty, and at that price I'd expect something like less grease. The apple pie with ice cream was another letdown, especially with all the extras in the photos, including a sauce I couldn't see the point of. The dishes feel overcomplicated, and it's not cheap, though you clearly pay for the setting. A jug of water was the biggest hit. Maybe other dishes are what this place is known for, but these aren't award winners. Maybe I'm being picky, but these were simple dishes worth checking. P.S. There's a little worm coming out of the blueberry in the photo 😉 On my second visit I ordered pierogi 🥟. The portion was huge, but they seemed premade and probably reheated in a microwave, and they were very dry. It's ridiculous to serve food like that to people eating in a restaurant. See the photo for yourself. The place was busy, and soup seemed to be the most popular order, so perhaps that's the sensible choice. And that salad 🥗

We came for dinner and ended up staying overnight in our camper. The surroundings make you want to linger. Inside, it's very clean, with a sophisticated design and spotless bathrooms. The soups and dumplings were delicious, and the service was very friendly. We recommend it.

The restaurant sits in a picturesque spot and has a great atmosphere. Prices are affordable, and the food was very good. I tried two Georgian dishes: Bozbasz soup, delicious with a little heat and just the right seasoning, and Azerunga, aromatic with plenty of vegetables and meat, though not spicy. The waitress was very nice.
