Zajazd Magnolia-Airport Modlin

The only real drawback is the distance from Warsaw Modlin Airport. A taxi there at 11pm cost 80 zloty. We stayed at Zajazd Magnolia, which is mainly a restaurant with rooms upstairs on the first floor, but that didn't bother us. It's modern, and both the room and attached bathroom were spotless. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was simple but tasty, with everything we needed. It would do the job for a night.

The food was great, and the atmosphere was nice. The rooms were clean, modern, and really pleasant. What stood out most was the staff, so helpful and clearly caring about their guests. They understand hospitality. One of the best hotels of its kind, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The bar is a lovely place to unwind with a cold beer or two. Breakfast was delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. A little gem, with a very helpful manager and staff.

We left without ordering after finding out several menu options weren't available. We'd already been waiting with a hungry child, and the table we'd eventually got was still covered in crumbs and dirt from the previous guests. The menus were dropped on top of it, and when we asked directly for the table to be cleaned, the woman on duty seemed to treat it as a chore. We didn't feel welcome, and it was a very disappointing experience. Earlier, we'd waited patiently for a terrace table while the staff ignored us. When we asked to sit inside because we were hot and tired, the waitress said we couldn't come in with our small dog. We waited on, and eventually a table became free. We probably won't go back.
