I was here on a business trip, and the staff were so warm and helpful that I haven’t come across such kindness in a long time. The Maja Guesthouse in Nowy Sącz is a very nice place, with clean rooms and everything kept pleasant and well maintained. The coffee and tea facilities and toiletries were a nice bonus. The walls are thin, though it wasn’t a major problem for me. Breakfast is usually served from 7:00 AM, but they gladly arranged it for 6:30 AM and brought it to my room. The portions were so generous I couldn’t finish. I highly recommend the guesthouse.

I chose the smallest room since I mainly needed a place to sleep. It wasn’t very spacious, but it had a little balcony overlooking the garden where I could relax. The rooms and hallways were clean, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. It’s accessible for everyone, with a ramp for wheelchair users. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The hotel building is modest and unremarkable, and probably dates from the communist era, but it’s very good. I’m giving it 5/5 because the staff deserve it: they were kind, friendly, and helpful. My small double room with a balcony was tastefully decorated and functional. Breakfast next door was delicious and varied, and the coffee was good. The location is close to a shopping center and public transportation, with plenty of parking.
